Jyoti Dalal Dialysis Centre
Sanjeevani Medical Foundation set up its first Dialysis Centre in the year 2015 with the collaboration and support of The Dalal Family Foundation USA.
It had been a strong desire of Dr. Amol Agarwal to establish a Jyoti Dalal Dialysis Centre in Lonavala to satisfy the dialysis needs of local residents, tourists and second home owners. The closest dialysis center was in Pune or Panvel which was more than an hour away.
Shri Nayan Dalal’s mother Smt. Jyotiben loved to spend time in their Lonavala home. However due to 3 times per week dialysis treatment and lack of local dialysis center, she always had to get back to Mumbai just after 2 day stay. Nayan had seen the inconvenience his mother had been through and realized how it must be for other patients in similar situation as his mother.
After passing away of Jyotiben Dalal, Nayan was visiting his father Shri Pravinbhai Dalal in Lonavala in 2016. While on a routine visit to Shri Pravinbhai Dalal, Dr. Agarwal shared this thought with Shri Nayan Dalal. The idea was blessed spontaneously since Nayan echoed the same desire and will.
It was the collaboration of two good human beings who intended to create a facility for the ease of treatment of the patients in and around Lonavala, JYOTI DALAL DIALYSIS CENTRE was setup at Sanjeevani Medical Foundation. Since then, it has been a great success. Dr. Agarwal’s team has been diligently working on the cause having four bed department offering dialysis services in two shifts. Patients are treated with utmost care with periodic monitoring of their health parameters and also providing injections for sustaining a better quality life. An exclusive bed in hospital is reserved considering dialysis patient’s special medical needs. Its Dr. Agarwal and Mr. Nayan Dalal’s wish and vision to provide best of the dialysis facility under JYOTI DALAL DIALYSIS CENTRE.
About the Foundation:
The Dalal Family Foundation USA is a private foundation established in 1997 by Shri Nayan Dalal, from a well-known family in Kapol Community. The Foundation is a shining reflection of his Mother Jyotiben and Father Pravinchandra Dalal’s teachings and charitable work. The Dalal Family Foundation endeavours to improve and strengthen the health, education and wellness of communities through philanthropic activities in the United States and India.
The foundation aims to support synergistic organizations that can help achieve these goals by nurturing relevant projects and ensuring long-term benefits to society at large.
One of such projects for medical assistance to the community was initiated under the auspices of The Dalal Family Foundation USA in the memory of Smt. Jyotiben Dalal.
